Your stories read better.

We publish a lot of stories and we write about them every day. Some days the output would write the same story three times or slip into a voice that didn't sound like a real person. We'd also accidentally write about tools only we use internally, which doesn't help anyone reading this.

We added an editor pass that runs after we publish each day. It reads everything, cuts the duplicates, kills the internal stuff, and rewrites what's left in one voice. We also added a second pass that catches any story that slipped into a confusing how-to voice and flips it back to news style.

The paper should read like a smart person talking to a neighbor, not a machine. If it doesn't, that's on us.
